16.1 Policy
Fountain Art values its team decision-making processes and encourages
staff to participate in essential meetings to plan major events and coordinate annual events such as its Information Days. Team leaders need to inform their managers of the purposes of the proposed meeting, the staff attending and the number of staff time required. Except for training sessions, meetings are not to be used to pass on information that could be communicated by staff circulars, memorandums or e-mail.
Staff are required to attend all meetings called by the Managing Director
and/or their Department Manager, Notice of the meeting including an
agenda will be circulated at least three working days before the meeting is to be held. The chairperson of each meeting is to nominate a person to
record the minutes which are to be circulated within a week of the meeting to all those present.
Catering is arranged through the receptionist for full day meetings and funds are authorised by the manager of the Administration Department.
